AMD presents the world with a brand new processor for 2008, the Tri-Core Phenom
Another surprise from AMD as they unveiled their new processor for 2008. Aimed as direct competition with the Core 2 Duo line from Intel, AMD hopes that having three cores instead of 2 will give them the advantage in a market place that has no fully utilized multiple cores.
